Willamette Valley Men's Campus
August 2025 Newsletter |

We love summer at the Willamette Valley Campus! The men have really been enjoying Wednesday Recreation Night where they can play volleyball, basketball, pickleball, ping pong, lift weights, walk on this gorgeous property or even take a swim. |
|
|
Last month we partnered with LoveINC Linn County, along with many local churches, to paint and refresh the landscaping at a local elementary school. |
We also attended and helped with the first annual Celebrate Jesus festival in Sweet Home! |
|
|
We hosted our Summer Open House where supporters and new friends came to the campus for fellowship, a ministry update, refreshments and a tour. The students love interacting with our community of ministry supporters. |
We have lots of activities and ways to get involved with what God is doing at the Willamette Valley Men’s Campus. Be sure to connect with Krista if you are interested in any of the opportunities you see on this newsletter. As always, we are very thankful for each of you! |

We have four more volunteer spots available for the annual Spiritual Emphasis Retreat for students and staff of Adult & Teen Challenge PacWest, September 4-9, at Washington Family Ranch. Check out the website for additional details and to sign-up if you can support our ministry in this way. |

Help Send Students to Spiritual Emphasis! |
|
|
One of the best parts of summer is our Spiritual Emphasis Retreat where students and staff from the entire Adult & Teen Challenge PacWest region gather for a life-changing week.
This time is dedicated to encountering God, deepening our faith, and receiving fresh vision for our journey. As we get closer to this event we enter a time of prayer for how God is going to impact our students' lives and even how God is going to refresh our staff.
Every dollar you give helps cover transportation, lodging, meals and access to powerful ministry sessions, where students experience healing, deliverance and restoration. Your gift doesn’t just fund a trip, it fuels a divine encounter. Give today and be part of what God is doing. Lives will be changed because you said yes! |

Our Ladies Guild is a dedicated group of women for the purpose of compassion, connections, community and collaboration. We are a group of caring, dedicated volunteers whose goal is to serve God through the ministry of Adult & Teen Challenge PacWest. We are currently working together on auction procurement for our Western Shindig coming up in October. If you have a heart to serve and have time & talents you might be willing to pour into this ministry, call or text Krista at 503-302-4512. |

Thank You, Summit Structures! |

Shout out to Summit Structures who donated a massive chicken coop to our campus! We're excited for students to have the opportunity to learn about sustainable living, animal care and to enjoy egg salad sandwiches, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and more. We're grateful for Summit Structures' partnership with us for our Christmas Tree season and for this wonderful chicken coop! |

Steve's Reality & Truths! |
|
|
Reality is… running away from home because you are depressed and bipolar. Reality is… losing your dream job that included two loves: golf and landscaping. Reality is… having your first wife divorce you because you wouldn't go to work, overslept and cheated on her with your eyes.
But the truth is… even though I ran away from home, I never ran too far for Jesus to find me!
But the truth is… losing my dream job gave me an opportunity to start my own landscaping business that I still own today.
But the truth is… I eventually remarried to my wife Leslie who is supporting and loving me today as I find healing in my life.
The book of Truth says in Jeremiah 29:11 “”For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” And that's the truth! |

Would you please join us in prayer to fill ALL the beds at the Willamette Valley Men’s Campus? We have spots available and a ministry team dedicated to walking with these students in Discipleship, Vocational Training, Life Renewal and Outreach.
Lord, please bring us your lost sheep. In Jesus' name, Amen. |
|
|
Would you consider a very tangible way of blessing our campus? We are in need of a monthly subscription of toilet paper, paper towels for our restroom dispensers and napkins.
Check out our Amazon Wishlist that is updated regularly and can be found here: |
