Night of Hope Recap

June has been a busy month! We have the most amazing garden, thanks to the volunteers that came from Faith Community Church! We have so many vegetables growing now! Now we need to pray for the sun to keep shining.

Our Educational Coordinator, Paige got married this month and it was such a great wedding -- we are so happy for her and her new Husband, Tyler. He works at the Seattle Men's Campus! Congratulations to these two! It was a great reunion for us ladies to be all together and celebrate this couple together.

Julie has officially completed her one year Internship and has been hired here at Graham to be a Recovery Coach. We are so proud of her and excited for what the Lord will do in her life this next year. We appreciate her sweet gentle spirit and her servant's heart.

We came together to celebrate Margaret completing her program. It was so great to have friends, sponsors and her family there to pray over Margaret and what the Lord will do in her heart this next year. Margaret is responding to the Lord's call on her life to become an intern at our campus. We could not be more excited.

I have been serving in this amazing ministry for 14 years and am so blessed to be able to take the next six weeks off. I will be resting, getting refreshed and spending some quality time with my family and the Lord. I am very blessed to serve with so many amazing women.  The campus is in great hands and God is definitely moving in this place. Thank you for your prayers for us all and your continuous support.

Blessings,

Spiritual Emphasis

Volunteers Needed

Every year we take all of our students to a camp and have a time of ministry and celebration for what the Lord is doing all over our region. This year we are taking them to Washington Family Ranch in Oregon. We need your help with a couple things.

The first thing is we need to raise $10,000 to take them. This will cover gas, lodging and the cost of the camp. Please prayerfully help us meet this need and bless these women with a life changing experience and encounter with God.

The second thing is that Washington Family Ranch requires us to have 10 volunteers for Graham Campus, to serve in the kitchen for these three days. This would be an opportunity to serve these women. There is a link below if you are able to join.

We will provide your lodging and food. You will be able to join in some of the fun, after serving but this is mainly a ministry opportunity. We do allow teens to help if they are over 14 years old.

Spiritual Emphasis Testimony:

Kelli

My experience at Spiritual Emphasis last year  was very profound. I was following Jesus and being discipled but had little compassion for others. Being surrounded by so many women everyday can be challenging. When I was at the altar, I felt God take my pride and inability to love, and in exchange He gave me compassion and empathy.

I also felt God calling me deeper and had no idea at the time what He was calling me to, but I said YES!  Now I am an intern and am so grateful for this experience. Seeing so many people who had been struggling in addiction like me, worshipping the Lord was indescribable. This deeply impacted my heart forever and I still get goosebumps at the presence of God that I experienced that weekend.

Student Testimony:

Erica

"My name is Erica.

I have been at the Graham Campus for a few months and have never known the goodness of the lord in the way that I have since coming here. I have asked myself for so many years, Why am I alive? I had lost hope and was desperate. I was sexually abused as a child by a family member. I lived my whole life questioning my self worth and what love was, and lived my life as if I was not worthy of any love or acceptance.

Addiction became the way that I masked everything in my life. I never believed in God. In my addiction I had so many health problems. I suffered a stroke, had a heart attack and had open heart surgery. I continued to use drugs intravenously. The hospital helped me to get into secular treatment, but I knew I needed something more.

Within a couple months, I found my son. He was an Intern at the Seattle Men's Campus and he had been praying for me. My son at one point wanted nothing to do with me, and now he was asking me to trust him and God. He then helped me to come to Washington to the Graham Campus. There is so much to unpack from my life but I have met Jesus.

He hears me and loves me in a beautiful way. I am so grateful for restoration and hope. I am so thankful for what the Lord is doing in mine and my son's lives. It is truly a miracle story of redemption, and it is just beginning."

Campus needs

A huge shout out to the ladies in Mossyrock who are funding a commercial XL stackable washer and Dryer. This means the world to us! We do so much laundry everyday and are still in need of one more. The cost is approximately $1700.

If you are an electrician or a contractor, we have a part of our deck sagging and are currently getting some bids for this and we would love your help.

Other campus needs include:

  • Clearing blackberry bushes and some dead trees
  • A weedwhacker and a new lawn mower
  • Chicken coop upgrade and attention
