Greetings from Adult and Teen Challenge Alaska Men’s Campus! As we step into February, we are filled with gratitude for all that God is doing through our ministry. Here are some exciting updates, highlights, and upcoming events:
Our outreach team goes to the Downtown Hope Center and the Anchorage Gospel Rescue Mission weekly and monthly schedule sharing testimonies of God’s life-changing power and leading worship.
These moments have been deeply impactful, as our students and staff connect with communities and glorify God together. We are glad to get outside the walls of the program and reach the most broken right where they are.
Casey Bays, a graduate of the program, intern graduate, and recently hired as a Peer Support Specialist with our Life Renewal counseling program, Got married in January! We are so excited for Casey and Jane to start their new life together and to be a part of the Teen Challenge family! This is exactly why Teen Challenge exists, to see men come back to life, fit to be husbands again!
Our Executive Director and wife were able to go to the Alaska Assemblies of God Presbyters meeting to share with the what all is happening with the ministry here in Alaska. It was a great time to share how God is using the ministry. We shared pictures of graduates, our new Super Thrift store, received prayer and cast some vision for where we’re hoping the Lord takes us. We are praying to the Lord to open opportunities to go do ministry presentations throughout the state at their churches because of this meeting.
