CAMPUS UPDATE

WE ARE FOCUSED

"Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you." - Proverbs 4:25 ESV

As we are forging into 2025 our eyes, our gaze is focused on all that God has for us and wants us to focus on.  We have 2 important areas of ministry that Krista and I are focused on that really allow us to keep bringing in lost & broken men to find freedom in Christ.  As a non-profit, we have ways for our friends & family to support the mission of Putting Hope Within Reach Until ALL live free.

First we have our STUDENT SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM. We have a goal to add 100 new supporters to this amazing program by March 15th!  Can we do this alone, NO - we need YOU!

Our Student Sponsorship Program allows you to watch the journey of transformation happening in the lives of the students. You will receive an Info Card with a photo of your Student and ways to Pray for them.  You will also receive updates throughout their year with us and see the growth in their walk with Jesus. This program is key to continuing to keep the doors open to anyone who wants change but might not be able to contribute financially to their program.

NICK F. NEEDS SPONSORS...

The 2nd area of focus is our annual EVENTS!  We have several events this year that we would love if you would Save the Date and plan to join us.  Events are a great way to come alongside us for a fun day that helps us raise the funds needed to stay up and running towards God!

MARCH 30TH. You can support us in 2 ways: 1. Build a team of 5 people and then ask your friends and family to sponsor you in this crowdfunding campaign. Or 2. You can make a donation towards our $50,000 goal.  Website link HERE.

MAY 10TH. This is a low-key, delicious meal, fellowship and hearing an encouraging speaker event to celebrate moms, daughters, sisters, aunts - Ladies!  Please join us and invite any other ladies in your life.  All the details are HERE.

STAFF APPRECIATION:

DEREK

Pastor Derek is our Education Coordinator.  Derek has been with the ministry for many years and has a big heart for discipleship.  Every weekday morning Derek teaches our Group Students for New Life in Christ where there are 14 studies that teach Biblical principles and practical applications for our daily lives. While these courses are designed with new believers in mind, they are a great refresher for those who are more mature in their faith.  Then each afternoon Derek meets with students who are on their class day to encourage them and be available to help them in their studies and application.  We are thankful for Pastor Derek being on our team!

STUDENT TESTIMONY:

Reality is… choosing a lifestyle of substance abuse, selfishness, violence and dishonesty, destroying every relationship along the way.

Reality is… suffering a traumatic brain injury that resulted in severe mental illness, self medication, and attempts to end my life.

Reality is… a life overflowing with anxiety, depression, hopelessness and recklessness.

But the truth is… I always knew I was on the wrong path and that God had a better plan for me and that only HE can restore every part of my life.

But the truth is… God was always watching over me, answering prayers, and protecting me. Thank you Lord for the miracle of life!

But the truth is… all of my circumstances led me to Adult & Teen Challenge where I could find freedom from the enslavements of my past. Jesus is the light of my life, guiding me through the darkness.

The book of Truth says in Ephesians 4:21-24 “Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.”

And that's the truth!!!

PRAYER REQUEST

Would you please join us in prayer to fill ALL the beds at the Willamette Valley Men’s Campus.  We have spots available and a ministry team dedicated to walking with these students in Discipleship, Vocational Training, Life Renewal and Outreach.  Lord, please bring us your lost sheep. In Jesus name, Amen.
