Celebrating Roberto

In June, we celebrated Roberto as he completed the 12-month residential program. We are very proud of Roberto and all the growth he pushed through. Roberto had suffered from alcoholism and had been in and out of jail. His addiction had destroyed his family relationships, so that no one trusted him. During his first six months, he was not sure that he would need to finish the program and had other plans.

We kept on believing for him, and around month seven, we witnessed Roberto’s breakthrough! Roberto became full of joy and he had a smile everyday. He no longer spoke of not completing the program and was working through his issues at our Life Renewal program. Roberto was walking into what God had prepared for him!

Roberto has completed the program with a freedom found only in Christ and his family welcomed him with open arms.

These testimonies of what our God can do, is what we get to witness here at the campus. Roberto’s restoration with his family was a massive step. His court cases all had favorable outcomes. God met with Roberto here at our Campus! Roberto had an encounter with our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Serving SuperThrift

This month we also had the privilege to support our Missoula Campus by sending four of our men to help with the new SuperThrift building that was recently purchased.

The guys were excited to go on their first "missions trip”. The excitement and honor they felt to be asked to help out the women’s Campus in Missoula was written all over their faces. Staff in charge of the project reported that our men did an excellent job and that they were able to get a lot of work done!

Outreach

Recently, we have been reaching out into communities around the Yakima area. Our Outreach Coordinator has been bringing awareness through setting up some of our Store Front outreaches in new towns that we have not been able to in the past.

We also partnered with Therapeutic Riding of Tri-Cities this month to provide hotdogs at their event. Therapeutic Riding of Tri-Cities is a program committed to enhancing overall wellness and mental well-being through the healing connection between humans and horses.

We also partnered with Central Church for their annual Color Run where we provided hotdogs.

Open House - July 13

We want to invite you to our next Open House here at our Campus on July 13. Stop in and hear about what God is doing through our Jail Ministry to women here in the Tri-Cities. It is a great time to meet some of our men as well and tour our Campus.

Sponsor a Student

Play

A huge 'thank you' to all of our Student Sponsors. The men love to receive letters and cards from you! We currently have 73 Sponsors and our goal is 110. Please consider sponsoring a second student. My wife and I sponsor two students and we love receiving their updates in the mail. We keep their pictures on our refrigerator to remind us to pray for them as we both know what it is like to go through the program.

As a Sponsor, you will receive an Info Card with a photo of your student and ways to pray for them. You will also receive updates throughout their year with us and see the growth in their walk with Jesus.

Please consider investing $45 a month to join the mission of Putting Hope Within Reach Until All Live Free.

If you are interested in sponsoring a student at our campus please call 509-547-2389.
