September 2025 Newsletter

Aloha ‘Ohana!

We’re excited to share all that God has been doing in and through our students this past month. We pray this update encourages you as much as your prayers and partnership encourage us.

Sharing Our Stories Across the ‘Aina

We were truly blessed this month to host a powerful Open House event, where Officer Rob Segobia of the Puna Vice Division shared his heartfelt testimony.

Officer Rob spoke candidly about how the war on drugs has personally impacted his life, including the devastating loss of two of his children to overdose. His story deeply moved everyone in attendance, especially our students, who were encouraged by his transparency, strength and commitment to making a difference.

Outreach

This month, our students have also been hard at work in vocational training and outreach ministry. Every Thursday, they step out in faith to feed the hungry, offering not just food, but the hope and love of Christ to those in need. It’s been inspiring to see them boldly pray, share their testimonies, and serve our community with compassion and purpose.

“I never thought I’d be the one helping others. Sharing what God has done in my life has been one of the most healing parts of this journey. Feeding people is one thing, but when we pray with them and see tears, you know God is at work.”  -G, Student

Expansion

We’re  thrilled to announce some exciting renovations at our Men’s Home! Thanks to the incredible volunteers of Sure Foundation Church, our home has been updated and expanded.

We can now house up to 16 men (doubling in occupancy), and we’re currently blessed to have 14 students in house.

God is moving in this place, and we ask that you continue to pray for our students and the ongoing growth of this ministry. Thank you for walking with us in this mission of transformation and hope.
