Campus Updates

We are thrilled to announce that in June, we welcomed a full-time Outreach Coordinator and a full-time Development Coordinator to our team. These new additions will play a crucial role in expanding our outreach efforts and strengthening our fundraising initiatives, allowing us to serve more people and grow our ministry impact. In anticipation of ongoing growth, we are actively improving our facility to ensure a welcoming and functional environment for everyone who walks through our doors. Currently, we have five interns, and our beds are filling up quickly, reflecting the increasing demand for our programs and support.

Our Night of Hope Gala was a success, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and supported us. The generosity displayed was truly inspiring, and we are pleased to share that we exceeded our fundraising goal by $16,000. Additionally, 18 individuals committed to sponsoring one of our students, providing them with vital resources and encouragement. Your love and support for our campus and mission are making a tangible difference in the lives of many.

Intern Highlight:

Kevin Carlson

“I grew up in a good Christian home, but being adopted, I always felt like the odd child in the family.  I sought validation and attention growing up; this brought me to feeling accepted in a bad crowd.  I started smoking at 12 years old, at 14 I started using drugs, when I wasn’t going to school, I bounced around from place to place.  This lifestyle became socially acceptable as I lived a double life.  My addiction progressed as I got older.

I eventually got to the place that I didn’t care who I was hurting as long as I got my fix.  I eventually got to the place where I felt empty.  I needed validation from others, but it was never enough.  I decided I needed help.  My parents recommended Adult & Teen Challenge.  I went through the year-long program at the Portland Men’s Campus.

In August of 2024, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at a Spiritual Emphasis retreat.  God restored my hope, gave me structure, and brought me to Bend.  I am no longer a victim, but an overcomer through Christ.  I am now in a season of learning to help others and grow into a leader.  As the youngest person at the Central Oregon Men’s Campus, I am learning and growing daily.” - Kevin J. Carlson, COM Intern

Five Students Baptized

We are excited that five of our students were baptized during a Sunday service at Joy Church.  They made an outward expression of what Christ has done in their heart!  We are excited about the resurrection life we see in these men.  This is nothing short of a miracle!

Campus Needs

A 450 lb commercial ice maker would help the men in our program stay cool during summer.

We are raising $10,000 to send our campus to Spiritual Emphasis.

Our campus often relies heavily on basic toiletries and household supplies—like toilet paper, deodorant, body wash, toothbrushes, laundry detergent, and tin foil—are everyday essentials on our campus. While these items may seem small, they’re crucial for maintaining a sense of dignity and stability. Unfortunately, the cost of restocking them can quickly add up, creating a common challenge for many of our students and staff.
