Outreach: Fervent Fire Family Day

August began with our men serving at the Fervent Fire Family Day as part of our Outreach program. Each participant lent a hand setting up tents and bounce houses, then staffed the attractions while giving away hot dogs to families.

The team also helped distribute Bibles, backpacks and school supplies to those in need, ministering and sharing their personal stories throughout the day. On Sunday, our group led a special ministry presentation about the program, with three residents courageously sharing their testimonies with the community.

Magic City Wellness Expo

We were honored to be both benefactor and an exhibitor at the Magic City Wellness Expo at MetraPark Pavilion on August 23. This event brought together dozens of local health and wellness organizations and hundreds of visitors for a day of community connection and education.

Our booth gave us the opportunity to meet great people, share the mission of Adult & Teen Challenge with new contacts and raise awareness for recovery in Billings and beyond.

Student Success: Completions

A special celebration was held on campus as two of our men completed the year-long recovery program! Friends, family and supporters gathered in support. We also welcomed Greycliff Mill, who led worship music, and Pastor Woody Brien from Home Church, who delivered an inspiring message.

We were privileged to express gratitude to Harry Staley for his partnership and pivotal support as our first ever Vocational Training relationship. The day was filled with a spirit of hope and achievement.

New Intern Highlight: Jon

Jon is the most recent man to complete the year-long program and has chosen to stay on for an internship another year. Jon arrived directly from jail facing a long list of federal charges, but since joining the program, God has moved powerfully in his legal situation, showing all involved that true transformation is possible.

Jon has grown from a man who once struggled with constant trouble into a leader pouring back into the lives of those around him. More than a productive member of society, Jon has a God-given gift to minister and inspire.

Thank You & Needs

Thanks to the generosity of a supporter, we are celebrating the arrival of a brand new 15-passenger van! This new vehicle will expand our ability to serve, transport residents, and participate in outreach more effectively.

As we continue to serve and grow, here are a few items that would be a blessing to our campus:

  • We are launching a student sponsorship campaign and aim to sign up 10 new student sponsors by the end of September. Sponsor a student today!
  • Essential supply needs include paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products.
  • We are also in need of beef donations to prepare hearty meals for our men.

Thank You!

Thank you for your continued prayers, support and partnership with Adult & Teen Challenge Billings Men’s Campus.

Together, we are transforming lives and building a brighter future.

God bless you!
