Happy Easter!

The girls had a wonderful time celebrating Easter this year. We got to go out to a buffet dinner, and you can guess what most of them chose, sweets! Genuinely, the girls loved getting to pick whatever they wanted to eat for dinner and it was such a special treat!

We attended an evening service after our special Easter dinner and got to truly worship the King and celebrate the empty tomb! Hallelujah!! What a miracle the life we get to live because of the price Christ paid for our freedom.

We pray that the girls continue growing and learn to accept the gift of salvation that is for them! But in the meantime, we love getting to celebrate holidays with them and watch them experience the joy that can be found in a sober life!

Worship Team Update

Something that has been cool to see at BGA is our student driven worship team! We have a former student, now staff member, who fondly remembers the time she spent on the worship team while she was in the program. She asked if she could do the same thing for a new group of girls, and lead a worship team. So that is exactly what is happening!

Thank you, Sattagrace, for your heart to pour into students and walk with them through this season so unlike any other! What a gift! 

Truly, the sweetest sound is listening to a student belt out a song in worship, fully surrendered to the Lord. While she was not so long ago full of rage and hurt, desperate to be anywhere but at BGA, she's now at peace. Eyes closed, arms raised, and heart soft; that’s where true freedom and healing begin.

Please keep praying for soft hearts and geniune moments of worship in our girls.
