Campus Updates

Hello from the Alaska Women’s Campus! We are gearing up to have an amazing, hopefully sunny, summer here in Alaska! Our staff and students will enjoy a few more evenings on the deck and some fun outdoor activities the summers have to offer. We are excited to see the longer daylight hours return and the snow be away for a bit.

Spring is a time we focus on the resurrection of Jesus! What a wonderful thing- we got to baptize 4 students on Easter Sunday! Such an incredible sight to see women surrendering their lives to Jesus!

A few more highlights from this past month at the Alaska Women’s Campus:

  • We changed our student schedule around quite a bit. It’s going to create more time in the classroom, Where so much discipleship takes place. The change has also added more free time for the students without compromising Life Renewal, Superthrift or our outreach efforts! This change has impacted everyone- the students, interns, campus staff, our Life Renewal team and our thrift store.
  • An anonymous individual sponsored our entire student body and interns to attend an amazing women’s conference at King’s Chapel in Wasilla. The ladies were encouraged, challenged, and blessed to attend such a meaningful event. Thank you to those who made it happen!
  • Our Student Life Coordinator, Sunny, and Director, Clarrissa, traveled to Valdez to share about the work Adult & Teen Challenge PacWest is doing in Alaska. As a former student and intern, Sunny shared her powerful testimony at New Horizon Church’s Women’s Ministry Lunch and at their Sunday morning service.

I would like to say a huge thank you to our staff who work tirelessly day in and day out to meet the physical needs of the students in our program. It takes a village and they are an amazing village to have rally around each one of the ladies that God brings to our campus! Please join us in prayer over our students that they would continue to submit and surrender to all God has for them in this life.

Upcoming Events

Open House

On May 15th at 6:30pm we will host our very first Alaska Women’s Campus Open House! We are looking forward to alumni coming by along with friends of our ministry or those who would like to know more about ATC and to hear about what God has been doing through our program. It will be a good time to connect with everyone and see the Lord working in the lives of our current students. We hope you’ll plan to join us!

Campus Needs

Student Sponsorship!

Did you know for just $45 a month you can help make a HUGE impact on a student in our program? A lot of the time students do not have the means to enter a year long treatment program but through generous individuals,  fundraising efforts, and vocational opportunities we are able to help make the impossible possible for so many who need it.

Your Student Sponsorship will include:

  • A personal profile about your student
  • A photo of the student you're sponsoring
  • An invitation to your student's graduation
  • Opportunities to write to and meet your student and receive an invitation to their completion ceremony

Thank You!

To those still reading, thank you for caring about this ministry. Our staff work very hard to love our students to wholeness. Your prayers, thoughts and financial support are so vital to us in that process. “How will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they’ve never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?

As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!’”. Your support enables us to do this Gospel work to people who desperately need it!Your support is quite literally ‘sending’ us. Your giving is the Lord's work. Thank you!
