A few more highlights from this past month at the Alaska Women’s Campus: -
We changed our student schedule around quite a bit. It’s going to create more time in the classroom, Where so much discipleship takes place. The change has also added more free time for the students without compromising Life Renewal, Superthrift or our outreach efforts! This change has impacted everyone- the students, interns, campus staff, our Life Renewal team and our thrift store.
-
An anonymous individual sponsored our entire student body and interns to attend an amazing women’s conference at King’s Chapel in Wasilla. The ladies were encouraged, challenged, and blessed to attend such a meaningful event. Thank you to those who made it happen!
-
Our Student Life Coordinator, Sunny, and Director, Clarrissa, traveled to Valdez to share about the work Adult & Teen Challenge PacWest is doing in Alaska. As a former student and intern, Sunny shared her powerful testimony at New Horizon Church’s Women’s Ministry Lunch and at their Sunday morning service.
I would like to say a huge thank you to our staff who work tirelessly day in and day out to meet the physical needs of the students in our program. It takes a village and they are an amazing village to have rally around each one of the ladies that God brings to our campus! Please join us in prayer over our students that they would continue to submit and surrender to all God has for them in this life. |
